You'll like this story
Last weekend I was running errans early in the morning and stopped at a car wash to get it washed and interior done. The only other car there was a 2004 Cobra in yellow. I have a Black Mach 1 and while I love my car, I give credit to the Cobra for being a badass machine. Hell, if I could have afforded it, I probably would have gotten one over the Mach 1. . .
Anyway, this guy is one of those typical South Florida rich boys in sandals and the white long sleave club shirts who looks like he's over everything around him. His car goes through the wash first and goes out the tunnel with the 8 dryer guys standing at the end of it waiting for it. They see my car coming out next and I can see them gesturing to it. Well, we were both outside and the Cobra guy was taken back that ONE guy dried off his Cobra while the 7 remaining took car of my car. I mean, they did everything to it. As his Cobra was done, he took a good look at my Mach 1 as if to admit I have a nice looking car. Anyways, the 7 dryer guys appologized to taking so long as they were just "loving my car" and asked me a dozen questions about it. I reaved the engine for them so they could hear the exhaust gurgle as I was leaving. As I was pulling out into the street I had to wait for traffic, I could see they were watching me go. When I got out I had to make a U-turn, and as I turned around I could still see them watching me so I gave them what they wanted. I hit it and VOOM! I was gone. I just thought it was so funny that my car was getting more attention than this other guy who dropped much more $$$ than I did.

Nothing gets more looks than the shaker hood... although the cobra is a better performer, it's dull compared to the Mach

I agree also, while it is a bad_ _ _ machine it is a little duller than the Mach. That is why I went with the Mach. I figured I could dal with the little bit less HP compared to the overall looks.

Yes, COBRA is better on performance than the MACH, but not better on looks.
