Bassani X Pipe and LT headers?
Hi all,
I am getting some Bassani catted X pipes installed on my Mach next week. Am I limited to ST headers? I asked the shop for a quote on headers and they recommended the BBK ceramic coated ST headers with the X pipes. Thanks. |

I think with the bassani x pipe, you can either put on shorties or mid length, not long tubes

I have the bassani X matched with there mid length headers and catback. It sounds great.

Get the mid-lengths. Shorties are worthless.

hmmm, well id say LT or go home.. but thats not an option. Do mid lengths if possible.

I ran my old Bassani X-pipe with a set of Hooker LT's for quite a while. I had to fabricate a length of pipe from the collector on the header to the X-pipe, but it took me all of about 30 minutes to do that. I bought my stainless piping from Burns Stainless. Any muffler shop can do this for you. You aren't only limited to Mid lengths and shorties when using the Bassani Xpipe (Maybe if you want a simple bolt in affair, but for 30 minutes a under 50 bucks you can make any header work.)
