door ding is understatement of the year - I'm guessing you got cut out - no need to stay off the forums - you can always taunt us N/A folk with tales of supercharged speed.

Don't give up on it... A little bondo and paint, she'll be good as new!
I guess that line didn't work for Nicholas Cage in "Gone in 60 Seconds" either... |

hehehe. yeah, it was a single car accident and i was the only one in it. i don't remember what happend, but the police report said it was road conditions. no citations were issued and i was not speeding.
i sure loved that car, so i am hoping a cobra will fill its place. it looks pretty good as a vert huh? they cut the pass door and roof off to get me out. i was pinned in pretty good (legs took the brunt of the impact). the digital pics are a lot better, but i can't upload them to this laptop. those are some i scanned in. i have a messed up left leg and some other minor problems, but very happy to be alive. no broken bones though, can you believe it?

OK, now I am REALLY glad you are fine! But the second thought that ran through my mind was that the last few "dead car" threads have been of DSG Machs. I think I'm gonna take the 76 Mustang to work for a few days. I'm gettin' just a little bit worried....
So glad you are OK. That is one heckuva hit!

That is terrible man. I don't want to sound like a vulture but can I buy your chin spoiler? And perhaps your autograph? Cause if you didn't break a bone off that you are my hero.

Glad your ok. I don't think you really want to remember that one. A member of the race teams daughter was in a crash (Mustang GT) this time last year. Her boyfriend (driver) died and she broke both her legs and had to be cut out. She was alert through the whole thing (2 1/2 hrs). She wishes she wasn't.
No need to go away, I didn't see anything in the rules that says you have to own a Mach to be a member. Have fun with the Cobra, just watch out for those poles. |

I'm glad to see that you are ok. The looks of the car made me think otherwise. Good luck with a Cobra and miss the poles.
