Does anyone know what the difference is between..

A-plan
D-plan
Z-plan
X-plan

xplan is pretty widely available (friends and family plan or something like that), you can join the mustang club for like $50 and get a PIN instantly. Pricing is a little over invoice (sometimes you can beat it, sometimes you cant) and it limits dealer fees to like 100 or 150 (way better than the 500-900 i've seen!)

I forget the other plans but the discounts get bigger as you go, some of them can be shared but others cannot. If you google search it you can probably find more details. An rebates/incentives come off the plan pricing.

A plan is for current or retired Ford employees

D plan is for dealership employees.

Z plan I can't remember but is the same price as A plan

X plan above is pretty much correct

Great question since dealers screw this up, my Dad retired from Ford and when I bought Mach and Fiesta, they gave me X plan, I know better now.

D is for dealership employees and immediate family. I have used it. It took a 35k vehicle down to about 21k, but a year later the dealer would only offer me 15k for a trade in with 20k miles. Last new car I will buy.

No. It was still a Ford dealer, but not the same one.
