Advice on FWA/quadrant
I just replaced my stock clutch after 101xxx miles, problem was the throwout bearing. Anyway i replaced it with a Spec Stage 1 and i was wondering if anyone recommended installing a firewall/quadrant adjuster? Also, which would be best at choice? I know theres diff brands but would like help deciding on which one to buy. Thanks

Re: Advice on FWA/quadrant
I have a UPR quad and fw adjuster on the Mach. Good stuff but I would like to try the Fiore brand on the Cobra.

Re: Advice on FWA/quadrant
I have the UPR quadrant/FWA on my 04 GT. The problem I had was the bore on one of the holes in the quadrant was a hair undersized for the shaft it had to slide on of the clutch. So I ended up taking a big coarse wood screw to open it up(good thing it was aluminum...and I didn't have a file so I had to improvise) I got UPR's triple hook quadrant and quick click FWA. They work great and have been on for couple months now. It's good to know you have the adustability of the clutch just by poping the hood and turning the FWA to where you like the engagement to be.
Install was "easy" and straight forward. It's a PITA getting the stock quadrant parts off due to how awkward it is under the dash, but removing the driver seat helps a lot. Another thing was one of the 2 screws that came with the FWA was not "clean". There were two phillips screws and one had some slag in the "cross" where the screw driver would go. Making the screw useless. Just things to keep in mind. If you have full tools and spare screws...you will be fine. But it's things you have to tinker with buying "lower end" products. They made the third hook as to not infinge on Steeda's double hook design.
