electric fan failure @30k
i just put in a bypass switch for the electric fan so i could use it when i wanted.....shortly after using the switch my electric fan has failed......huge wobble in the blade and it makes a terrible grinding noise.....
is it safe to assume it was the fault of the switch....i used this switch often while sitting at lights hoping it would keep me cooler and not have the computer pull timing.....120 shipped from summit for a dorman replacement fan which isn't bad ,but i could have done with out the extra bullsh*t...lol any thoughts???

Re: electric fan failure @30k
i dont think it was the switch. i mean what is the fan made for? its made to spin.... what makes it come on and spin shouldn't matter as long as its the proper voltage... just my 2 cents. hope you get it worked out!

Re: electric fan failure @30k
My fan self destructed on a short ride to nowhere...I only had about 13 k on the car....The switch you put in had nothing to do wth the failure..You threw a bearing like I did.
