First mods?
I just searched mods and came to the conclusion for my first mods.
1.jlt Rai 2.aluminum driveshaft 3 short throw 4. spacer (not sure which for a dd) This will be my dd and i cannot do gears to it yet that comes after my extended warrenty. I already have flowmasters on the stock cat back. Anything else that will make it a little bit quicker? |

Re: First mods?
I just got a 3/8 intake spacer and twin 62mm accufab throttle body that goes in tomorrow. Both good mods and fairly inexpensive.
Do yourself a favor and rip out those flowmasters and get yourself an x pipe and a real catback like a magnaflow or something. :P 1. Dont waste your money on a JLT RAI. Get a K&N drop in and use the money for other mods. 2. I have a carbon fiber, but they are pricey. An aluminum d/s is certainly a good mod. 3. MGW Short throw shifter and dont look back. 4. 3/8 Roys intake spacer

Re: First mods?
His car is a daily driver so I would say negative on the electric water pump. If anything I would get a stewart mechanical waterpump. Ill probly get one eventually. Nets alittle bit of hp and costs less than an electric and is far more reliable.

Re: First mods?
I totally disagree. I drive my car just about every day, and I used to commute 60 miles a day with the electric water pump. It has been on the car for over 3 years now. I soldered the connections and made a clean wiring job, and the car runs much cooler. It never gets above 190 according to the predator. Before the electric h2o pump, it ran as high as 210 and It could only lay rubber down just through second gear. It definitely made a difference in power. It will lay rubber into 3rd after the h2o pump. You have to set it up correctly, and I installed a warning light should it fail. It works by reducing parasitic drag.
