Good catted H mid pipe
Any recommendations. Car is automatic(if it matters)
First Im in a state with yearly inspections so cats is a must. Plus I dont want ridiculously loud. Most on the aftermarket are X but I prefer the sound of the H. Flow Master makes a decent 2-1/2 catted mid pipe but its described as only fitting the manual. https://lmr.com/item/FLO-2020027/Mus...c-H-Pipe-99-04 Does anybody make one that will fit the automatic cars? |

I noticed it lacks pre cats. Is it going to be obnoxious?

Re: Good catted H mid pipe
MRT H-pipe has a nice classic muscle car sound to me its not too loud. The SLP loudmouth exhaust is ridiculous to me, I removed it from the car as quickly as I could. I'm back to the stock catted h-pipe and its so quiet I can't tell if the car is running most times.
Should be able to find audio clips of the exhaust. Youtube or I believe MRT used to have clips on the website.

Re: Good catted H mid pipe
If you read how Scott describes his product on the site, I think you'll find he give honest ratings on noise, etc. His big pet peeve is droning, so I don't think will be a worry either.

Re: Good catted H mid pipe
MRT H-Pipe is the way to go. It has a nice sound with no drone.
