quad shock replacement necc?

I am considering doing te H&R SS and bilsteins. Can I just get away with front and rear shocks or do I need to get the quad shocks at the same time? it's an extra $200 for them.
I hear some people running no quad shock.

I think everyone takes them off when they install lower control arms.

Just keep your quads and if your changing springs for handling reasons you may want to reconsider your choice.
