Sad Announcement - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of my Mach1.

She was born in early 2004 and lived with me for 9 years. She was driven like she was stolen...every day. She never let me down and rumbled every time I was around.

The incident happen on May 9, almost 9 years to the day of her arrival into my life (May 20, 2004). She and I were on a leisurely cruise home from work when some jackwagon crossed three lanes of traffic on the interstate and we ran out of room to stop. She tried her hardest to protect me. She screamed as loud as she could and gripped the roadway as hard as she could. But alas, she took a punch for me.

After 9 years and 130,000 miles, she has moved on to bigger and better things in the afterlife.

Rest in peace...Orange Crush!

Sounds like a good friend sacrificed herself for you. I'm sure you have great memories driving her everywhere. Glad you're ok. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of the next ride.
