took the car out with the D1 and BRRV for the first time...
holy crap that bypass valve is loud! I got the recirculating unit but its just vented to atmosphere right now.
Im gonna post a video tomorrow night but I feel like something might be wrong...I have verified that the bypass is open at idle (although I did not try to look to see if it was COMPLETELY open at idle) but its annoying as hell at part throttle under a slight load. When I start the car you get a loud...howl...I guess you could call that it dies off. Same thing when Im driving it, gently accelerating (its not tuned so Im babying it) around 1500rpms its like it howls, if I get up around 2000rpm or so it drops off, or if I back off the throttle a little it dies down after a second or two (also goes away if I upshift and dont try to accelerate any more). is this normal with the recirculating bypass? The rushing air sounds would be fine but the howling is obnoxious! Seems like like maybe it does it if the valve is only partially closing at some throttle conditions edit - boost gauge is not installed yet so its making it more difficult to know wtf is going on...may try to install the aeroforce gauges monday

Yes, they are ridiculously loud.
