Yellow Fog Lights kit

Well i was for awhile just using a amber fog light bulb, but it got to be a pain cuz i had to order em online from summitracing, so i didn't know american muscle sold the amber fog light housing kit and was all excitied, so sold my stock fog lights so i could get these, win win
they just came in today and will be getting put on later tonight, very happy they got here so fast and they look made really good too. so already very happy with em, once i get em on i'll take some pictures when its day time tomorrow

I tried the yellow bulbs too. They never seemed yellow enough. The housing kit looks great. Much better color overall. :beer:

Well took the mach for alittle cruise tonight, filled up with some shell gas before i head out for about a 60mile round trip. also she got a quick bath before heading out, went on a back road and then took the interstate home, i was curious about how well the fog lights help with the lights for me to see



Well i have the smoked headlights with clear corners, i have low beam LED kit for my headlights and with the fog lights just the bulbs that came with the kit. well with just the headlights on and me only having one eye now i have big prob and hard time seeing driving at night. with just on coming traffic and glare of other lights, if its just really me on the street its bright enough. well i was shocked how much the new fog lights helped, it made it where i could see finally. i was so happy cuz i was fixin to swap my smoked headlights for some stock ones, since i could see better with the stock ones, but now everything is good. just wanted to share that if your having a hard time seeing at night these amber fog light kit really does help. i don't know bout the smoked ones they sale, i would think it wouldn't be as good as the clear or amber ones. but don't know cuz i never had em or any thing. so really great mod just for safety of being able to see

next time we meet up i would like to get em side by side to see how much brighter yours is with having the HID fog light bulbs compare to just the ones they sent me, i figure they are prob a amber fog light bulb, but don't know didn't pull it out, either its a clear bulb and the amber cover does a great job showing it up like that or its a amber bulb with cover and makes it shine really good
we should get pictures to post what they compare like, i'll need which level of HID fog light bulbs you have

Heres also a cheap option for anyone who wants to try yellow fogs. I have these on my 05 Escape and they fit great plus protect the light from getting broken because the sheet is pretty thick. They are not quite as yellow as the Raxioms but close. Plus they have other colors/tints as well. From now on, all of my DD's will have these at least on the fogs.

thats kewl if someone doesn't have $90 bucks to throw out or the Raxioms ones, but i will say i've had a couple of Raxioms products and i'm very happy with there items and how they are made, i hope they don't step down on there standards ever

Oh agreed. Thats why I just got that set of Raxiom smoked tails for sale on here. I like these for my DD's because its cheap, gives me yellow for fog and snow, and protects the lights. Especially my Hella 500's

yes IMO they are compare to stock bulbs, i can see these when driving
