How do I go about shipping a rear end?

Anyone done this?

I am considering selling an extra 04 Mach rear end I have.
But have no real ideas on shipping..a big pallet maybe?

Motor Frt it out on a 8ft long pallet. Im pretty sure you could send it on a std. pallet though, with it hanging off the ends. I don't think they would be able to damage it that bad.

How about Old Dominion Trucking..
They ship quads in a pre-built metal frame approximately 2ft wide by 5 ft long. Not sure on a price though.

I shipped an 8.8 rear from PA to Chicago via motor freight. Strapped it down to a standard pallet and they took it. IIRC it was through YellowFreight at the time. I believe it cost about $80 to ship.
