Wipe out the bore the freeze plug was in and then feel it with your finger....is it smooth? Clean? Ok then. EGR tube is movable...freeze plug out on driver side. Bore clean.
There is a bracket with two bolts tha must be loosened so the ear on the new driver side fitting will slide under the bracket and bolt flush to the head.
One bolt is a 10mm and the other is a 13mm. No need to remove....just loosen a 1/4 inch and pull braket back to make room for ear to slide under.
