Re: Die -cast cars

I was always under the impression that Franklin mint was much higher standards then Danbury mint but when I received my Danbury Mint Mach it was proven that my information was incorrect. Danbury Mint did an amazing job on the 70 Mach, best part it doesn't sit like they forgot to put an engine in it or it has a car trailler on the back

When I added a 2nd 12-car 1/18th scale display to my display case I took a good look at the latest Highway 61 release of the 70 Mach.

All I can say is WOW!!!! The detail is just insane. I was hoping to take one of my High Way 61 Machs and have it painted to match my 1:1 car but after seeing the detail I told myself it would be IMPOSSIBLE!!!

U really notice the details when you compare the 3rd released Ertl Mach

to HighWay 61's

Its amazing how far Diecast have came in 10yrs Only thing I don't like about HighWay 61 is trying to get them out of the package. Sofar I haven't broken anything off yet but I imagine the day would come if I tried to put them back in
