Went to a dyno day the first time with several other Mach 1's. The others were making around 275 - 282 HP on that dyno.
Bone stock, mine made 260 +/- 1HP on 3 pulls. Very disappointing for a 5 speed.

Fast forward about a month to the next dyno day. Again, several other Machs there making about the same or a little more because of mods.
Mine was still bone stock with absolutely NO changes since last time.
Made 274 HP this time. Gained 14 HP!!! The difference? 4500 miles on the odo instead of 2500 miles. Things are looking better for this "weak" car.

Added 4.10 gears, K&N Aircharger, O/R XPipe and catback, a chip and professional tune by HPP and got to 302 HP.

Replaced the K&N with the JLT RAI and 95mm Pro-M maf (again tuned by HPP) and it made 308.76 HP and 325.79 ft-lbs of torque.

Yes, all numbers are SAE.

Except for the xpipe and catback. And the CAI and intake spacer and Pro-M whatchamacallit. Oh, forgot the Tri-ax and RAM clutch and the built 4.10 rear. That's about it, except for the chip. Oops, DRs also, and sometimes ET Drags. And the subframes. The linelock and driveshaft loop came standard on the car - I swear. Other than that - bone stock.
