1) i would talk to todd warren (na svt) about cam choice, hes the guru.
2) my stock displacement 4.6 -10:1 motor with comp cams Xtreme Energy blower/nitrous cam (cant remember if stage 1 or 2) with a 3.5" pulley made 14.8 psi with a little belt slip (8 rib but old thump tensioner with the bad design).
personally id run the 3.8 and get a bigger crank pulley for more boost. Im spinning to 7k
