You were remarkably right when you said I was so close. Yesterday I got the PS pump off which wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be since I popped the pulley off a while back. I used a ratcheting wrench on the bolt next to the power steering line and ended up not having to disconnect the line so it all went perfectly. After that the last thing I had to do was disconnect the heater core which actually went SHOCKINGLY well. I didn't even have to swear/curse, the passenger side hose came right off the first time and the drivers side just needed slight encouragement from a tiny flat head to get the clips to release all the way.
After that, I just needed to take out the trans mount/k-member bolts and lift the car slowly.
