Picked up some
SVE hood struts from
LMR, they were on sale for $72 shipped and installed them today, piece of cake like y'all mentioned, only hairy part is worrying the hood studs don't break
, I used a 1/4 ratchet and took my time, needed one longer fender bolt also as y'all mentioned, only on drivers side, had an extra in my shop. Thrilled at how much easier it works now and how much cleaner engine compartment is.
