depending on you how did your connections could be a bad crimp, broken wire etc... Im not sure where you grounded it but on passenger side of the trans tunnel up near the firewall there is a factory ground (green bolt). Youve gotta pull the carpet back, I usually pop up the plastic trim along the pass side door opening, theres one push pin holding the kick panel in place, remove that then roll the carpet back.
