It's very fixable. It's a matter of "adjusting" the factory bump stop on the clutch pedal so it can lift far enough to pull the TOB off the pressure plate. There are a few things to be modified but it's fairly straight forward and takes all of a hose clamp and a piece of scrap metal cut to size. Please elaborate. Sounds almost like the throttle cable mod.
