Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Been out of the loop for awhile.

Flow checked my .046-.062-.070-.078-(maybe .136?) fuel jets and will be doing some dyno time soon. I Installed a permanet accurat liquid flow gauge graduated in 0.2 tenths right at the "IN" port of the fuel solenoid. Using my old craftsman Electric trigger switch, and a small external battery, I can control operating the solenoids very easy. The solenoids I have draw (N2O) 33 amps & (Fuel 20) amps. Solenoids are not designed to be energized for a long period of time. NX advises no more then 20 secs. I probably was holding them open for 5-10 secs max insuring the set 6 psi does not fluxuate. Once I had exactly 6 psi flowing for each jet at my flow gauge, I would record the dead heading (static) psi on flow gauge and record the fuel regulator gauge in trunk at static. I did this several times for each jet to insure repeatabilty, which turned out to be very good! Now I know what static psi to set trunk regulator gauge and what static psi the flow gauge should read, based on which fuel jet I plan to use. Periodically, I will always flow check, especially on the bigger shots.

Brakes will be checked out by CRT Performance, having some issues with them, I think my manual master cylinder needs to be rebuilt or replaced!
The brake pedal has to be pulled up with my foot to prevent the brakes from dragging. The brakes are also very hard at times, then soft at times. Until this brake issue is resolved, I will not be at the track.
