The KR was the predecessor to the 428 CJ Mustang. Tasca built it with a mix of off the shelf 427 and 428 part, mixed together to make something very similar to what would become the 428 CJ that we know today. Tested by the car magazines of the time there was even a mail in form to send into Ford so that they would build somthing faster than the 390 car that was the fastest Mustang at the time, but not nearly as fast as the Camaro of the day. Tasca Ford also built the "Tasca Super Boss", which was one of the fastest cars ever built at the time, a beautiful machine that has been found and I believe is either restored or is in the process of being restored.:THUMBSUP:
