Did the same thing as soon as I installed my JLT ram air intake. Not sure if it does anything, but may open up the airflow to the intake itself.
I also raised my shaker at the same time as the intake. which was almost 8,000miles ago. prob about a 1/4 inch. didnt need any washers or anything. But took off the shaker again to re adjust because one side was higher than the other. Prob just moving around. so i put a couple washers around now.
