Having been here most of my life, I can say this one will be the one that everyone compares the next storm to. Allison Held that distinction until Harvey. If it ended today it would be bad, but with at least 2 more full days or more of this its going to effect every part of the city.

This storm is similar to Allison as Allison was basically a 4-5 day event. And for those of you in NOLA you also got a unwelcome visit from that one if memory serves me correctly...

First day Allison Dropped @ 10 inches the first night that tuesday. then came back on Friday and dropped in some areas 32-40 inches.

This one will break that record easily.

Say prayers for all the folks anywhere near the Brazos...I have a good friend who lives in Simonton, that lost everything during last years events (memorial day and tax day floods). The brazos crested at @ 55 feet then, likely going to easily surpass that.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. As soon as this breaks, off to work...going to have a lot of cars to see...
