I've got kind of strange question about the gasket, wonder if Bob or anyone else could answer this one for me. I installed my MGW shifter a little while ago. My buddy who had a spare MGW laying around from his old car, after driving mine suddenly remembered what he was missing. When we went to remove the shifter installed in his car (think it was a Pro 5.0) the previous owner of the car had used a CobraBob gasket but it looked like it wasn't put on the right way (TR-3650). If I'm correct the way the bolt holes are set up on the 3650 means that the gasket can only fit properly one way. So my question is should my friend purchase a new gasket because the original was mounted improperly or should the original be fine it looks to be perfectly normal other than the fact that it was on weird. Thanks for any advice you can give.
