I received a response from the guy that's making the quarter panel louvers. This is what he sent.

"The design is supposed to slide beneath the sail panel a bit to lock it in place. As far as the material I can do one in the textured ABS (what was shipped) or smooth ABS plastic that you can paint. Either way the material is stable and up to 220 degrees, and is impact resistant. As for the drainage I recommend leaving a few gaps along the bottom edge trim tape for water drainage.....thats all thats really needed. As for the design I'm thinking of pulling the bottom edge lower to keep it more level with the bottom edge. The last one farthest back looks a bit off too but I would like your opinion as well as anyone you might know that would be interested."


I will be emailing him this evening with all your comments and recommendations so he can start a production on these quarter panel louvers. I will also find out how much these louvers will cost.
