I was very happy about getting a diesel truck, because of adding to the MPG to one, but with all the emissions crap they put on the diesel now, its hard to get any good MPG, unless you delete the emissions stuff. The price to delete the emissions stuff is about $3500. They started on the Ford diesels with the 2008 Powerstroke, which mine is a 2009.
