The odometer is coming up on 130,000 miles. The car was 100% bone stock when I bought it, and will remain 99% stock while I own it. I have no idea what brand of oil the previous owner used, or how long his intervals were but the report estimates about 3,800 miles on this cycle and it appeared to be 5W20 viscosity.

The metals were well within averages and the flashpoint was still very high with no signs of coolant or fuel in the oil, which to me says that the gaskets and seals are holding up well. Clearly, the previous owner stayed on top of maintenance well, and the 4-valve engine is capable of long service life. I was nervous when I bought the car, but not now. I can breathe a little easier.

Having said all this...I use 5W30 Motorcraft syn-blend in both my Mach 1 and the Coyote V8 in my F-150. My F-150 has 126,000 miles on it, so both of my Fords are getting some age on them. Is there any benefit to using "high mileage" motor oils?? Or should I stick with the Motorcraft 5W30 syn-blend that I've been using for years?
Mine has 150,000 on it and I have tracked the crap out of it for years and my last B Stone report at 140,000 was perfect. Getting ready to do one at the current 150,000 mark.
