Soooooo... I have had 10 mustangs over the last 16 years, and have kept my favorite. AB mach 1, CO Cobra, TB Bullitt. The bullitt has been my daily driver and I have enjoyed it like crazy. The bullitt takes all the abuse and track time so the others can stay nice (although I have raced the others and have fun with them). I need to commute more now and the bullitt does fine, but it's supercharged, fully built, 410 gears, ect and I figured Id give it a little break and find a daily driver GT. My thought was the better gas mileage on a more stock car would pay for itself over time. I almost bought a couple GT's, which fell through, luckily, because I found this nice 04 Mach 1 in really good shape. Unfortunately, the previous owner passed away in a car accident and this Mach 1 was inherited by his cousin who didn't care for it. It sat for a couple months and he decided to sell it. The car runs amazing. Non IUP car, welded in flowmasters, SR lowering springs, real saleen wheels, driver seat pretty beat up (I was told the previous owner was a big guy) a little fade on the rear decklid and a couple rock chips. 143k miles but perfect for my needs. This way my other cars can stay nice and I can enjoy my life driving to work and back.
I ve ordered a new set of SLP loudmouth 1's, Maximum Motorsports CC plates, Pro 5.0 short throw shifter, and a steeda aluminum shift handle.
I have the Saleen wheels listed for sale and hope to get AFS mach 1 wheels for it like my blue one has. One guy 9 hours away may trade me his 17 AFS wheels for my saleens if we can meet sometime. I have always loved red and my twin brother Scrun27 on here has a red 03. I love his car and went with him to get it, which is one of my favorite life stories. So this reminds me a lot of that trip. pic below of our cars together now. This car is in great hands and I have already clay bar, waxed, vacuumed and cleaned under the seats.
