Pretty lousy idea for sure. Hopefully it will never happen.

If it does though, I imagine our Mach 1s will become more sought after as the last of a kind.

I know it isn’t in the same league as the Mach 1 name, but Mitsubishi just brought back the Eclipse name on an SUV. Almost like these companies think that previous owners are aging and more likely to want an SUV now. Heck, I am 67 and want no part of any SUV.
