IAT temps climb around 120 is but come back down. Mechanic called me tonight, after pump install he vacummed filled and for 5 days he would run a heat cycle then top off at crossover..he got to the point he didn't need to add any, said he got home and saw coolant leaking...no leaks for 5 days, he says it seems to be coming out the trans bellhousing, a drip with car not running, he is gonna pull a slight vacuum and see where it is coming from. I am thinking it must be somewhere high that once crossover full and no air in system, leak started, guess what I can't see driving is once system pressurized, it must leak...gonna check cooling mod (he said not from there), think there is a egr tube back there, or a freeze plug ( which why start leaking after 5 days??).Any thoughts on what could be leaking supposedly from drivers side and seemingly from trans bellhousing? Will update as I learn more.
