It won't be accurate. Alot of the parts can be sourced used for cheap while other's will have to be bought new. Not everyone is going to try and go to the dealer for a lower pulley cage for $400 when you can pick up one used for about 70-120 used.
My kit I put together is running right around 2k right now. That's with alot of extra's that im going to turn around and sell to get some of my money back.
