I have the 65 mm bbk on my mach and never had any of these problems, and if you look in the instructions it tells you to do all of the things you listed as a fix. like disconecting the battery so it will RE-LEARN IDLE. and also it tells you to make slight adjustments to the idle stop in 1/4 turns to eliminate vacum lock(hardness to open throttle plates while running) . mine works flawlesly
