to the OP you can tap into the dimmer circuit in the fuse panel or tap into the dimmer whire behind the cluster. do a search over on stangnet as there numerous threads that have the info you need. I forget the color of the wire you need to tap into.

edit: i just talked to a buddy of mine and he says he used a add a circuit on fuse #37 in the fuse block. lights come on when he turns his lights on and dims with all the others as well.
