Having an imperfect car can free you up in a way though if you let it. Sounds funny, but I enjoy looking at cars that have patina as much, if not more, than I do 'show cars'. The rough edges get my mind turning for some reason. Unless you're mr money bags, the more perfect a car is the less fun you tend to have with it. There seems to be a definite inverse relationship there.
