^This is what I think is going on with my cricket noise making TOB lol.
I made a freeplay mod for mine and keep mine just barely off the PP, but I’ve tried both. My pedal rattled bad with the preload Maximum Motorsports calls for. Mine is a FRPP TOB from American Muscle. It has around 25k miles on it. It will put out a really quick chirp when fully warmed up as you push the pedal down. When it chirps for longer than that split second, I will make an adjustment with my MM firewall adjuster. Not a big deal to me...after submitting to it of course lol.
