It replaces the Bosch ABS pump which weighs 9.7 lbs. The brake lines reconnect to the manifold so you don't have to replumb the brake lines. The line will fit to the manifold just like reconnecting to the ABS pump. It's mainly for owners that are serious about weight reduction for drag racing/road racing..
