George Klasse builds high horsepower engines running standard WAP blocks without boring, stroking, or hardfilling.
He built John Mihovetz's engine that is crazy.

52 psi in the lights at 9,600 rpm. Good guess. 2,500 hp at 9,200 rpm. That's 8.9 horsepower per cubic inch on gasoline.
The car weight is 2460# with driver and runs a 4-speed Lenco. This was the first weekend that John used the 9" clutch. We have been using a 10" clutch in the past (best et with the bigger clutch was 6.19).

After following some of his work, I went ahead and built my WAP block for high HP. I have upgraded internals and lots of boost which should net me around 1200+ hp at the crank when I am done. I am not worried about splitting the block at this time.
