You'll be fine with the WAP block. General consensus is up to 900hp for the WAP block. Beyond that use the Teksid block. Or the newer 3V block.
Side note, I don't know what your budget is, but if you're serious about going turbo look into a custom kit. I've installed a Hellion on a 2V and I wasn't that impressed. Plus you'll end up changing/upgrading most of the parts.
