It is an engine control computer that you can use to tune your vehicle's engine management system to match the needs of your partiular engine setup i.e. larger fuel injectors, different camshaft profiles, forced induction, nitrous, adjust A/F ratios, timing, rev limiter, fan control, adjust for different rear gear, can adjust idle, part throttle and WOT etc.... nice thing about this is that you can tune in real time.
