I have bounced my needle off the stop, but the speedo has not been corrected since the 4.10's installed, so I don't know how fast I was actually going. I actually stayed in it to see what it would do and it started hitting the speed limiter, but I don't know what that speed is. Even with the lower gears, I still had plenty of pedal and was only around 6000 rpm's when it started cutting out, so I would expect maybe another 15 - 20 mph over the limiter.
Disclaimer: Driving at anything over the posted speed limit is illegal and unsafe to yourself and other drivers. Driving like I was would not have been done on an open highway by me due to this reason. Fortunately, we have a stretch of highway that was rerouted and is now closed to traffic. Although my safety was at risk, it was a 'closed course' so nobody else could have been hurt. Not preaching, just wanting to clear that up before the moderator's chimed in.
