What he said, turn the key to on and then off (don't start the car) I think 5 times then I think the car locks itself to give you the signal to hit the button on the fob. Something like that. Also, if you only have one key and you want a second one you have to get it from a dealership, they have a chip in them and you can't start the car with a walmart duplicate.
