What are the pros and cons of being a police officer? You don't have to answer these in a tedius manner, but specifcs would be greatly appreciated because I am considering law enforcement as a possible career path.

Also, what would be the best or the better route to go as far as education goes to use towards being in law enforcement? Criminal Justice? Sociology? What?

One last thing, speaking hypothetically, what would be the best/better route as far as education goes if I wanted to become FBI or something? Any ideas?
