That's an evap line for emissions. It doesn't contain pressurized fuel. If you're on a budget you could just epoxy that spot to limit fumes leaking out, or new they are $74:

Stock or shatter proof? I have a spare stock one, but the pivot ball threads are stripped out. You can have it if you think you can use it. I'll be back in town on the 7th.

Since your motor is basically stock, then all you are doing is adjusting the sound when changing mufflers or cat-back. I say if you like the sound now then leave it alone.

Cool build. Not sure I would have pointed the exhaust straight at the driver's face, though. I guess this is a strip-only car that will never be idling in traffic.

I can't believe you can't sell this for $50. The sound from the ProChamber + Flowmasters is amazing on a Mach 1. I have a turbo on mine or I'd snatch this up.
