Re: Jim Hackett can't Hack it!

I think Ford's problems began over 10 years ago actually. They had the #1 work van in the country which went by year after year largely unchanged, which meant large profit margins. So what did Ford...

Re: 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 - 5 speed

Re: power windows

When I bought mine from the original owner two years ago, he told me the driver side window intermittently wouldn't work.

In the two+ years I've had the car, the window hasn't failed a single...

Re: EEEwwww....Mustang Mach E...

Yep. Grew up a die-hard Ford fan. Have owned dozens of various Fords. My last remaining one is my Mach 1, and it's for sale currently, and there will never be a Ford product in my driveway again. ...

2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 - 5 speed

I've decided to sell my Mach. I love the car, but I have debt I need to get paid off.

I'm the second owner. Original owner put highway miles on it driving it to work for the first several years....

Re: The bubble will burst!

I think the real problem is Ford is going all-out with this because in this economy, they can. People are blowing money on whatever they want.

This economy won't last, though. The bubble will...

Re: Bullitt...up for auction

It was really cool to see the car in person. The owner even signed a poster for me before they send it off to auction.

Re: Mach (sorta) Under Water

My father bought a low mileage GT500 a little over a year ago for $14,000. The car had been "totalled" by the insurance company because water got inside the car. He took it home, pulled the carpets...

Re: Bullitt...up for auction

Its last public appearance before going to auction (from what the promoter is claiming) is going to be at the Somernites Cruise in Somerset, Kentucky on August 24th, 2019.

That just happens to be...

Re: Z26 Powerstop pads wouldn't fit

But I ordered them as a full kit. All one box. So if they got the Mach 1 specific parts correct for the front, you'd think they'd do the same for the rear. I'd be surprised if they went out of...

Re: 2020 Corvette. What do you think?

I think it's a game changer.

I've never been a huge 'Vette fan. Always hated them, actually. But the C7 kind of started drawing me in a little bit. And the LS engines are just SOOOO easy to...

Re: Q's for anyone familiar with painting cars

My car is like yours...metal body panels are in good shape overall, plastic ones covered in rock chips.

I had my front bumper painted last year and it looked amazing when I got it back. But it...

Re: Z26 Powerstop pads wouldn't fit

Yes, I didn't realize it but maybe that was confusing. I'm not talking about the thickness of the friction material. I'm talking about the actual width (or length depending on how you're looking at...

Re: Z26 Powerstop pads wouldn't fit

Thanks. I ended up taking the rears back apart to just check and make sure the pads could move and weren't seized up so tight in the calipers that they'd be useless. Gave me peace of mind. :D ...

Z26 Powerstop pads wouldn't fit

I bought the Powerstop Z26 Street Warrior brake kits from RockAuto.com. The kits come with new rotors that are drilled/slotted and new carbon ceramic high performance pads.

The front went fine. ...

Re: Dealing with rock chips

So, I ended up taking the car to the lowest bidder. He covered the front bumper and edge of the hood with SolarGard Clearshield Pro film and charged me $450. It is nearly invisible...except that...

Re: 2020 Hi-Po 4 cyl?

Yes the 2.7L EcoBust would wake that car up. In fact, it would be faster than the 5.0 and that's exactly why they'll never do it.

Even in the F-150s, the 2.7L trucks mop the floor with the 5.0L...

Re: Help deciding on an exhaust

I have a MAC O/R H-pipe and factory Mach 1 cat-back. It's surprisingly loud and it sounds a m a z i n g under moderate throttle outside the car. There is zero drone inside the car and cruising is...
