Anyone boosting the NA Aluminator LB??

Just curious as some folks were talking about it a while ago.

How much boost on pump gas, how much power and how is it holding out?

Thanks!

Re: sniper special forces?

If you are not doing a PD blower, I would suggest you keep them normal. If you put a PD SC on top of the motor you may have to turn them off or down to keep the blower from activating them.

And...

Re: Accufab Throttle Bodies

Here is my reply from Accufab. Them Me

We tested it on the the Marauder and did not like the results. We do not advertise or recommend for it to be used on that vehicle.

I do not...

Re: Pump gt-40 or Cobra???

I can't speak for the GT-500 pumps, but the GT-40 is significantly better then the Cobra or Focus.

I made 430 rwhp with a single GT-40 (60# injectors) on an auto. (NO BAP) I am at 470 + with the...

Re: August MM&FF - S/C with a Wastegate

It may be called a wastegate, but in application it is an adjustable blowoff valve.

It may not be for everyone, but I am sure in some applications it will be acceptable. You would not have to drop...

Re: Accufab Throttle Bodies

I bought it about a 15 months ago. I put it on in April.

Edit: I have also come to find out that the TPS Voltage resets itself when you start the car, so it does not matter what the voltage is....

Re: Accufab Throttle Bodies

I have been trying to figure out why my marauder is idling so rough and does not accelerate quick enough. I started thinking about the accufab throttlebody that has been on it since I installed the...

Re: Sniper Special Forces Tuning

OK, you set the hook, see if you can reel me in. :)

So, who sells the Commando SW, how much and what comes with it.

I have to ask, cause anything I do with this car is typically a struggle as...

Re: IAC replacement

You know, I get tired of going to Ford and most of the auto parts dealers and dealing with dough heads, so I use rockauto.com for anything I can. I just got an IAC from them. Don't remember the...

Re: Sniper Special Forces Tuning

Nice Thread!

My turn for a question. I want to make sure I understand this clearly.

I have a single turbo Marauder with a Predator tune for it at 9.5 psi. It has 60# injectors, TB, SCT 2400...

Re: 4.6L 4V cobra engine for sale-spun bearing- new carillo & JE pistons and eaton SC

Am I missing something? The pics and the first post say the pistons are dished.

Your later pics show flat top pistons.

Re: 4.6L 4V cobra engine for sale-spun bearing- new carillo & JE pistons and eaton SC

Any real info on the motor? Like dish of the pistons, diameter of the pistons, any head work, what kind of bolting, etc?

Re: How to go fast on the stock motor?

Well, if it is a manual, that helps. Turbo's are much more forgiving then Most SC's as that belt adds about 50-100+ hp at the flywheel and there is some back pressure on the piston to help the rod...

Re: What mods should I do to my engine to forge it?

Ralph,

I understand your point about reducing boost pressure by getting better flow. I was just curious about the max boost on a 10.4-5 compression motor. I have heard 15 psi.

Re: What mods should I do to my engine to forge it?

Ralph,

WIth flat top pistons and these heads the compression should be about 10.2 or so?

What is a safe boost level on 93 octane??

Re: What mods should I do to my engine to forge it?

MMR has a stoker 5.0 950 shortblock all ready built and ready to ship for $3200 I think. But it is a iron block.

Go to Modularmustangracing.com, go to shortblocks and look for a highlight that...
