There is a difference in height, as far as the barb on the aviator pump is concerned, as well. The brass, barbed nipple on the aviator pump is taller than the nipple on the stock pump... and it...

Well...looking at the wires... it appears to be connected to the fan circuit.
Wanting to get rid of it, I was hoping it was something A/C or ABS related, since neither are on the car anymore.......
