Re: 2003 DSG Mach1 5spd Texas
If I was still in Abilene, I'd take her off of your hands for sure. I know that doesn't mean much because I'm 1,000 miles away now...but maybe the thought counts? :12:

Re: Procharger - NOT HAPPY, need help
With a stock sized crank pulley, I imagine. General rule of thumb is 1-2 PSI for every tenth smaller on the pulley. With all 8 rib and a 3.9" blower pulley I was only making about 11 PSI at 6k, but I...

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
Hey man...sorry I left you hanging. The wife ended up going in to labor on Sunday at about 12:30am, so we had to take care of that. I'm back at home now though. I'm near a Walmart, but won't step...

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
Let me verify the part numbers first before I sell you something. I'm confident they're right, but I want you to be confident I'm right as well.
As far as payment goes, I take paypal.

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
I must have either read them wrong or written them down wrong. I was in the garage and the lighting wasn't great. The cams are in phenomenal shape. They're individually stored in plastic wrap and...

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
I'll look at my cams again and see if what I thought was an L in the first group of numbers is a Z for the intake cams.
And thanks for questioning my integrity. Thumbs up!

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
Those part numbers are the stampings that are on the cams. I couldn't get a clear photo of them otherwise I would've just posted a pic. I assure you that they are the stock cams removed from a 1998...

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
I tried to take pics of all of the part numbers, but I couldn't get a clear picture of them, so I wrote them down. They are as follows as stamped on the cams:
1:
F6LE-6A271-BB
464VLM1485S1
2:...

Re: Procharger - NOT HAPPY, need help
That makes sense. You can make A LOT of boost with a D1. Like I said before, with a 7.5" ATI Super Damper and a 3.9" pulley on the D1SC I was making 18 PSI at 7,500 RPM. Imagine what it would do with...

Re: FS: 1998 Cobra cams
No trades. I don't have a Mustang, so trading for Mustang parts is pointless for me.
If it's too pricey, make an offer. I'm flexible on the price. I would just like to unload them.

Re: Procharger - NOT HAPPY, need help
If you want to stick with the six rib, the six rib pulley will work on the D1 without having to clearance anything or shim anything. If you want to run 8-rib on everything, which is what I would do,...

Re: Procharger - NOT HAPPY, need help
I had the same problem on my '98 Cobra with the 8-rib setup on the D1SC. I had to use some spacers in some places and a Dremel with a cone bit on other places. You can make it fit and make all of the...
