This one is my 15th or 16th, I forget. Its actually an LX dolled up like a GT350. My first car was an actual '84 GT-350 however, and I've loved them ever since.

You could be right now that the cars are getting cheap and changing hands to 3rd and 4th owners in some cases. I bought mine when they first came out and at that time this site was overrun with first...

To clarify TRXboy, that was a stock Mach with 4.30s on gatorbacks on the street. Ok lets play nice now.

And I maintain that if you're capable of correctly driving the car they are perfectly fine for stock tires at the track or on the street.

I can't help but laugh at all of the people talking about first gear being useless in a Mach with 4.30 gears and stock tires. It isn't the gears and tires, its the driver. Learn to drive your car...

As I noted earlier, I got 20mpg in town every single tank with my 4.30s and I certainly didn't drive it like an old lady or anything.

Not entirely true. Did you ever actually wind yours out in 4th and put it in 5th? I did with 4.30s and it still seemed to be pulling quite sprightly to me. 4.30 gears turn 5th into an actual useable...

The Ford Mustang logo always faces left. The rationale is that in horse racing, they always run left to right, and the Mustang runs the opposite direction from the norm.

It was not designed to use the stock airbox. If you prefer to use the stock meter, they make a kit to accomodate that. It's best to just call C&L at 256-882-6813 and talk to them directly.

Avoid 50 pound MSD or any Disc style injectors. They will lock up under high fuel pressures. You'd be much better off with a 55 pound Siemens-Deka injector. Alan Kennedy at Performance Fuel Systems...
